MISSION

 The Worldwide Organization for Women promotes women’s understanding of their inherent worth and crucial role in society. We support and unite women of all faiths and nationalities in their efforts to create positive change and improve well-being through advocacy, education and humanitarian activities.

Women’s inherent power as an influence for good in the home, and world communities, will be acknowledged, valued, and utilized.

                

WHO? ….. We are women helping women, united by our vision of a better world.

 

 

WHAT?….. The Worldwide Organization for Women is an international non-denominational, non-profit 501 (c)(3) non- governmental organization (NGO).  Since December 1997, WOW has held special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) at the United Nations.  WOW has permanent UN representatives in New York and Geneva.  Interns from several universities participate in academic training programs and research focused on issues affecting women and families.
